First Spin-Off Award. SYSROBOTICS Project. Málaga, 2012. University of Málaga

Aeorum won the Spin-Off contest from the University of Málaga.

The company, founded by Jesús García (Telecommunications Engineer), Manuel Ruiz de Quintanilla (Computer Engineer) and Francisco David Trujillo (professor of Telecommunications in the University of Málaga) won the first Spin-Off Award from the University of Málaga with the project named Sysrobotics, a system to control the security of critical infrastructures with drones (small flying robot).

The initiative consisted on create networks of autonomous and robotic devices able to create three-dimensional models of facilities such as a dam, a nuclear power plant, the electric system that supplies a city or a hospital, among other things, in order to check them in depth and detect where is the anomaly or the situation that implies a risk. The equipment is designed to automatically warn the headquarters that concentrates all the information of each infrastructure.
